RAUMINSTALLATIONEN 1983−1998
[SITE-SPECIFIC INSTALLATIONS 1983–1998]
First presentation of the Deckenmalerei [Ceiling Painting] and
the site-specific installation Farbschacht [Colour Shaft] by THOMAS
KAMINSKY and expansion of the Ton-Raum [Sound-Space] by BERNHARD
LEITNER, as well as the exhibition of the photo series Schloss Buchberg [Buchberg Castle] (created in 1997) by RICHARD ROSS, and the series of pictures Notes from New York by DAVID SMYTH.
Opened on 6th June 1998, with music by the Franz Koglmann Pipe Trio
On the occasion of the exhibition, RICHARD ROSS hangs and signs a
picture frame around a keyhole, through which one can glimpse an attic room
whose condition was captured in a photo from the series Schloss Buchberg [Buchberg Castle] on 21st July 1997. Together with the photo hung next to the
door, this installation subsequently becomes another permanent site-specific
concept.
