The Cube and Tree installation
is part of a series of works realized by HD SCHRADER in various locations from
the early 2000s. After lengthy discussions and the search for a suitable tree ‒
for a while the lime courtyard is also contemplated ‒ the cube is intentionally
hung in the walnut tree in the lower castle courtyard as an entrance motif to
the Kunstraum Buchberg.
